TOYOTA PROMOTES QUALITY COMMITMENT
WITH NEW FIVE-YEAR WARRANTY

KEY POINTS

Toyota’s reputation for superior quality is well-established among its customers, a fact that supported the smooth progress of its recent recall campaign and sustained healthy sales figures.

To reinforce the quality message, in particular for people thinking about buying a Toyota for the first time, a new five-year warranty is being introduced. The extended cover will be provided as standard on all new Toyota cars purchased in the UK from 1 June. Its introduction follows on from the success of Toyota’s Your Choice, Our Promise campaign  this spring, which offered customers the choice of an extended warranty or three years’ free servicing on their new car.

“Our new five-year warranty is tangible evidence of our commitment to quality and to our customers – both those who are loyal to the brand, and those who are considering switching to Toyota for their next car,” said Miguel Fonseca, Toyota GB managing director.

“By taking this major initiative we are giving our customers complete peace of mind. We want to reassure them that, in choosing a Toyota, they are getting the best in quality, reliability and durability.”

This message is to the fore in a major new advertising campaign breaking today across radio, television and the internet. Under the banner Your Toyota is My Toyota, the men and women who design, build and sell Toyota cars take centre stage to talk about the personal pride they have in the quality of the work they do.

The new five-year/100,000-mile manufacturer’s warranty builds on the established three-year/60,000-mile warranty. Full details for customers are available from Toyota Centres or at www.toyota.co.uk.
