Help with using the basket

Adding a release to the download basket

To add a release or press pack to your download basket, click the 'Add to Basket' button for the relevant release on the release menu.

Doing this will add the full document to your download basket so you are then able to download it later on in your browsing session.

Adding an image to the download basket from within an image gallery

To add a picture to your basket, click either one of the 'Hi-Res' or 'Med-Res' buttons to the right of the 'Basket' heading.

E.g. if you would like the high resolution version of the image
(see below), click the 'Hi-Res' button located to the right of the 'Basket' heading.

Accessing the basket and items within it

Above the menu on the left-hand side of the website is a constant tally of how many items are contained in your basket, this updates every time a new document or image is added.

If the basket is not empty, also displayed will be the options to view the full contents of the basket and to empty the basket.

Once you are ready to download the files present in your Basket, click the 'View Basket' button on the left-hand download basket menu, this will open a new page where you can see exactly what items are in your basket.

Click the 'Download Files' link on this page to save the files to your computer or provide your e-mail address and that of a recipient and then Click 'Send' to send the files in the basket.

Opening the downloaded zip file

Your selected files will be transmitted in the format of a zip archive (.zip format). This will increase the speed of downloading them due to a smaller overall file size and will make the files easier to handle, as only one file needs to be used.

This does mean you will need to have WinZip (StuffIt Expander on Macintosh) or a similar application installed on your system to unarchive the files. Winzip is available as a shareware, quick and easy download from their website.

All text documents are saved in Microsoft Word for Windows format and all pictures are saved in JPEG format. Certain files (prices documents and data tables) are in PDF format. These will require Adobe Reader, a free download available from their website.
